Celebrate Women daily, not just for March.

Today's post is about my latest accomplishments and how proud I am of my growth—both in life and creatively.

In celebration of Women's History Month, I want to share my experience participating in my second gallery exhibition at Harlem Fashion Week, hosted by co-founders Yvonne Jewnell and Tandra Yvonne. I showcased my project, Empowering Your Roots, which celebrates all women of Afro-Caribbean descent. It was an honor to share space with extraordinary photographers from the Harlem community, as well as Black-owned designers and business brands.

At the same time, I’ve been working on a ballerina project alongside Anna C., an amazing dancer who allows me to create visually artistic imagery through vibrant black-and-white dance photography.

Lastly, throughout March, I had the opportunity to create professional and fun imagery with Christine S.—a filmmaker, visual artist, and writer—by sharing her creative journey and short-form content on why she loves her craft and the powerful messages she conveys for women. You can check out her feature on Her Creative Corner, where I will continue spotlighting female creatives in industries such as art, corporate, tech, wellness, and more.
